A Feast for the Eyes is back at The Fylde Gallery
Some of the world’s top food photography will be exhibited at the Fylde Gallery, Booths, Haven Road, Lytham, Lancashire, FY8 5EG from 31 January to 4 March 2015. The World Food Photography Awards is a global celebration of the art of food photography.
“We are absolutely delighted that the Fylde Gallery is once again hosting some of our top winning images,” says Caroline Kenyon, Director of the awards. “Booth’s are renowned for using the very best food imagery in all their promotional material, so it’s great to see the exhibition back in Lytham.”
The competition, which receives over 6000 entries from over 50 countries around the world, feature numerous diverse categories, from Food in the Field to Cream of the Crop and from Food Portraiture to Food in Action, in memory of Philip Harben, Britain’s first TV chef who actually started life as a photographer.
Open to professional and amateur, old and young, the 2014 competition also featured the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year, showcasing images of Product, People and Places relating to all things vinous.
