If you are a passionate student photographer currently attending, or having completed within the previous 12 months, a photography course at a recognised college or university you can have the chance to win The RPS Student Food Photographer Of The Year Award, which is free to enter.

The Royal Photographic Society (RPS) is committed to bringing photography to all. It aims to inspire, encourage creativity, support new skills and provide recognition, in a community of over 10,000 people of all ages and backgrounds.

Prizes

The winner and two runners up of The RPS Student Food Photographer of the Year category will receive an RPS Membership, worth £56. The winning student will have their work and an interview published by the award-winning RPS Journal in either the Journal Extra Newsletter or the RPS Journal.

In addition, the winner of The RPS Student Food Photographer of the Year category will have the unique opportunity to have a 60-minute one-to-one Zoom meeting with Commercial Photography Consultant and Mentor, Zoe Whishaw. This will include:

Analysis of creative direction
Options and ideas to take career forwards

Before entering this category please note:

This category is only available for full-time and part-time students currently attending, or having completed within the previous 12 months, a photography course at a recognised college or university.
Entry to the RPS Student Food Photographer of the Year category is free of charge. A maximum of five entries may be submitted per Entrant.
The winner of the Student Food Photographer of the Year category is not eligible for the title of Overall Winner, World Food Photography Awards.
