Zoom in on Lunch - International Food Photography Day 2013

We are thrilled to announce International Food Photography Day 2013 is taking place on Thursday 14 November 2013 - a day to celebrate food photography in all its tasty and delicious glory. We are encouraging everyone to celebrate the art of food photography by having brunch or lunch with a friend, work colleague or family member.

We hope you will be inspired to take a winning shot of your hot pot, a piccie of your biccie or a photo of your potato - wherever you are with food on Thursday 14 November, take a picture and create your own food masterpiece.

Everyone who takes part on Twitter on Thursday 14 November using the hashtag #FoodPhoto13 will automatically be entered into a draw to win a classic 550 Billingham Bag, Zenfolio website and Serif software.

If you wish to retain copyright of your image and do not wish to upload your image to Twitter you can simply include a direct hyperlink to your image.

Pictures on phones or cameras, whatever comes to hand, make this a day to remember, for an art form that has been around, astonishingly, for more than 150 years, recording and celebrating all aspects of the earth’s bounty.

International Food Photography Day is conceived by the organisers of World Food Photography Awards.
